If the chapel closes for inclement weather, when will it re-open?
If the chapel closes during the night, the chapel will reopen according to these rules:
- If St. Charles School is delayed the following morning, the chapel will re-open at 9:00 am.
- If St. Charles School is cancelled the following morning, the chapel will remain closed that day and will re-open at 9:00 am the following day.
If the chapel closes sometime during the day:
- The chapel will re-open according to the same rules noted above.
If the chapel closes during a period when school isn’t in session (i.e. weekends, holidays, school breaks, etc.):
- the chapel will re-open at 9:00 am the following day if weather has improved. Otherwise, it will remain closed until the following morning at 9:00 am.
Please note:
- St. Charles closing decisions are not always the same as the MCCSC decisions.
- St. Charles school delay and closing decisions will be made by 6:00 am.
